The Max Challenge of Clinton's Day of Giving

A message from our friends at The Max Challenge of Clinton: For THE MAX Challenge of Clinton’s inaugural MAX Day of Giving, we have partnered up with and will be raising money for Hunterdon’s Prevention Resources, Inc. Prevention Resources is a multifaceted service agency who responds to and meets the diverse needs of its community members. Their mission is simply stated as promoting health and wellness of individuals, families, and community through education, collaboration, advocacy and treatment. The journey to fulfill this mission is of course a challenge, as the severity of chemical dependency and related issues only continues to grow. PR’s four divisions include: Safe Communities Coalition – focused on creating safe and healthy communities by eliminating drug use (prescription and recreational) as well as underage drinking; Prevention/Education Services – supports the health & wellness of individuals, families and the communities they serve by providing programs which empower people to make good decisions to live happy, healthy lives; and both their Treatment/Early Intervention and Family Success Centers focus on empowering and strengthening individuals & families through activities and education, as well as providing access to appropriate resources needed to maintain healthy relationships. We are passionate about putting an end to the drug epidemic that touches all of us in one way or another just as much as we are passionate about bringing health and wellness to our community.

Please join us for a community day inspired fundraiser at the Red Mill Museum Village on Saturday, April 13th. There will be family friendly MAX classes, a tricky tray, vendors, kids activities and more! The event starts at 1:30pm and will run through 5:00pm. We are asking for a minimum donation of $20 per family; all funds collected will be given to Prevention Resources. Rain date Saturday, April 27th.

A SPECIAL AND GRATEFUL THANK YOU TO OUR PLATINUM SPONSOR, THE RED MILL MUSEUM VILLAGE FOR DONATING THE PROPERTY FOR USE OF OUR DAY OF GIVING.

Winter Village at the Red Mill Museum

Marketspace Vendor Events joins The Red Mill Museum Village's 9th annual Festival of Trees in 2018 to bring you the Winter Village at The Red Mill.

This German-style outdoor, tented and heated, winter craft market in the heart of Clinton, New Jersey features 40 local craft artisans, vintage peddlers, and food trucks.

The Red Mill Museum Village's annual Festival of Trees is comprised of a decorated tree and wreath silent auction fundraiser benefiting the museum's preservation. Guests are invited to tour 12 historic buildings on the beautifully decorated grounds of the museum while enjoying performances by Clinton's 'Dickens Days' theatrical carolers.

A general admission fee of $5 (free to museum members and children ages 6 and under) will be retained by the museum for guests entering the festival and winter village. Food trucks will be available on-site. This event is family-friendly.

After visiting our German-style holiday market, step back into the Victorian era in Downtown Clinton as you visit with Father Christmas, role play with Charles Dickens and Scrooge, and board a horse-drawn carriage for a tour of the town. The tree lighting is a show stopper you don't want to miss. Make a day of it in Clinton, NJ!

Set in a historical wool mill from 1810 that now hosts a museum, the Haunted Village has been providing scares to tri-state residents for 28 years. The mill is transformed into 3 stories of twists and turns, never knowing what kind of ghouls and zombies you’ll encounter with your next step.

This event takes place every Friday and Saturday evening from 7-10pm from October 12th-27th.

River Town Film Festival

At the River Town Film Festival we explore community through independent films. Each of our films must encourage conversation and enhance our understanding of community.

At a time when our country is so deeply divided, it’s a healing exercise to focus on discovering community in places where we least expect it. It is our hope that we will help start a larger conversation about how we are all part of a global community of people, and we need to be kind to one another. Our past films found community in surprising ways: through human trafficking, in the foster system, and even at the North Pole.

The festival will span three days: Friday, September 7  through Sunday, September 9. The iconic classic rock band THE ORCHESTRA Starring ELO Former Members will close out the festival with a rock concert.

The event will take place at the Red Mill, a historical landmark that dates back to 1810 and is now home to a museum village. Clinton is a small town that embraces a strong community spirit, and is a meeting point between cosmopolitan East Coast culture, artists, multi-generational farms and salt of the earth people.
